Core responsibilities
This role involves regularly meeting with students in pre-Licensure nursing programs to advise and counsel them on educational goals, curriculum planning, course selection, and major changes. The advisor will also monitor student progress, handle enrollment assistance, coordinate with other advisors, and communicate departmental events and opportunities to undergraduates.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in a related field plus three years of relevant advising experience, or an advanced degree with one year of experience, is required for this position. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to support diverse undergraduate students, possess strong interpersonal skills for teamwork, and have experience building rapport with students, families, and partners.
