The Program Assistant will support community programs and activities under the direction of coordinators, involving active participation, equipment handling, and facility upkeep like mopping and sanitizing rooms. Key duties also include enforcing center rules, encouraging youth participation, managing behavior, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, responsible, and possess strong communication skills to build positive relationships with youth and staff. Candidates should be comfortable working closely with children aged 8-13, exhibit maturity and professionalism, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
Overview In these opportunities, the youth will work directly with the Director of Communications (and maybe a newly hired Communications Manager as well) in supporting the assigned multimedia related tasks & projects. Key
