Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for providing direct leadership, instruction, and motivation to students in swimming classes while building authentic relationships with parents and students. They must also convey program information, maintain records, and attend scheduled meetings and trainings.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess a minimum of some high school level education. Required certifications include cpr for the professional rescuer, aed, basic first aid, and emergency oxygen, along with current ymca swim instructor certification or provided training.
