Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The role involves providing individualized support, either focusing on health and safety supervision and adl assistance (Personal attendant) or teaching functional skills for independent living and community engagement (Skills instructor). Responsibilities include documentation, reporting changes in health or behavior, and participating in necessary meetings.

Candidates need 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and must be able to maintain professional relationships and follow established care plans. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, maintaining tb clearance, and possessing a valid cpr/First aid certification and a valid california driver's license if transportation is required.
