Long Term Substitute Teacher

The role involves planning and implementing a developmentally and linguistically appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers, ensuring readiness for school through literacy, numeracy, and social-Emotional support. Responsibilities also include collaborating with parents, documenting child development, coordinating services for special needs children, and maintaining compliance with various regulations.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and must complete an infant/Toddler child development associate (Cda) certification within six months of employment, along with maintaining current first aid and cpr certifications. Required abilities include working in diverse environments, extensive knowledge of early childhood development, computer proficiency, and the physical capacity to lift 60 pounds and engage in active play.
