Instructor, Health Sciences, Phlebotomy & Medical Assisting

The primary purpose of this faculty role is to teach health sciences, phlebotomy, and medical assisting, which involves interacting with students to facilitate learning through effective instructional delivery and design, both in-Person and online. The faculty member is also responsible for professional development, service to the college, curriculum refinement, and maintaining accurate records.

Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree in a healthcare-Related field (Including an accredited dietetic internship) or a master's degree or higher in nutrition plus two years of recent healthcare work experience, along with a current rd/Rdn credential and evidence of prior teaching/Training in health occupations. Candidates must also hold or qualify for a post-Secondary vocational credential in health occupations and demonstrate computer literacy and a positive attitude toward teaching in varied modalities.
