Requirements summary
Minimum requirements include 90 clock hours in child development and curriculum planning along with one year of experience in a licensed preschool classroom, which can be substituted by one year of college (30 semester hours) or a combination of experience and college. Additionally, 9 clock hours of training in communication with staff, parents, and the public are required, with an md state credential level 5 preferred.
