Direct Support Professional

Direct support professionals ensure the safety and health of individuals attending the day program while supervising, coaching, and assisting them in achieving daily living goals like cooking and shopping. Responsibilities also include planning and documenting programs to meet social, emotional, physical, and personal needs, as well as facilitating community outings and transportation.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or ged, be at least 18 years old, and hold a valid non-Provisional driver's license. Essential qualities include being empathetic and maintaining a team-Oriented approach to care, along with attending ten days of paid onsite orientation.
