This includes engaging positively with youth, teaching appropriate behaviors, providing positive reinforcement, and assisting with activities of daily living skills.

Requirements summary

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid driver's license, and have a high school diploma or ged; previous experience with youth with behavioral disorders or autism is preferred. Applicants must also be maps certified or obtain certification within six months and attend a mandatory 2-Week paid orientation.
