Core responsibilities
The camp specialist will provide direct supervision to a group of children in a seasonal day camp, designing and delivering a specialty program tailored to the age group's skills and interests. This involves planning and leading activities, maintaining supply inventory, assisting the camp director with camp operations, and fostering positive relationships with children and parents.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be a high school student or equivalent, preferably with a minimum of two previous camp seasons of experience working with children. Required certifications include cpr, first aid, and aed, along with child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
