Staff Development Coordinator, RN

The primary function is to orient and educate all nursing personnel to ensure safe and effective nursing care according to federal, state, and facility guidelines. This includes developing education programs, supervising new employees during orientation, and performing annual competency testing.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current rn license and possess excellence in clinical nursing skills. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of three years of clinical experience, two years in long-Term care nursing with one year as an educator, and experience in gerontology or adult learning.
