The supported employment direct support specialist provides coaching for newly hired clients in community settings, assisting them with job acclimation and learning new roles while modeling duties and adhering to employer policies. This role also involves working with case managers to identify challenges, completing daily documentation, and supporting clients in achieving goals outlined in their individual habilitation services plan (Ihsp).

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess initiative, creativity, and the ability to work independently, along with basic computer skills, and must successfully complete required training including first aid/Cpr and direct support professional training. A reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, and a valid california driver's license with an acceptable driving record are mandatory.
