Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians implement therapeutic programs prescribed by the bcba using aba strategies, continuously monitoring the client for safety and wellbeing during one-On-One sessions. Responsibilities also include administering behavioral interventions, building rapport, engaging clients throughout all activities, and assisting with physical needs and personal care.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, with bachelor's degrees preferred, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employment is contingent upon obtaining rbt certification within 60 days and maintaining current cpr/Aed or bls certification accredited by the american heart association with an in-Person skill demonstration.
