High School Science Teacher / Athletic Coach (Girls Basketball Varsity Assistant / Second Sport)

The primary role is to provide academic instruction in a assigned subject area while enabling students to develop intellectually and socially, alongside fulfilling coaching responsibilities to develop student athletic skills and ability in the assigned sport. Duties include developing and implementing lesson plans, managing student athletes during practices and contests, ensuring compliance with uil rules, and safely transporting students when required.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a valid texas teaching certificate with required endorsements, demonstrating competency in the assigned academic subject. Additional requirements include the ability to obtain a cdl with specific endorsements, pass dot physical/Drug testing, and possess general knowledge of coaching techniques and curriculum instruction.
