Special Education Teacher - Life Skills Class (LSC)

The primary purpose is to provide students with disabilities appropriate learning activities to help them achieve educational progress related to their intellectual, communication, social, and self-Help skills, including developing modified curricula. Responsibilities involve collaborating on ieps, implementing lesson plans, conducting ongoing student assessments, and maintaining a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.

Candidates must possess a valid texas teaching certificate in special education, with specific requirements depending on the grade level (Elementary or middle/High). Preferred qualifications include knowledge and experience working with students who have cognitive impairment or developmental delays.
