Special Education Aide ECSE/SLC

The primary role is to assist the special education teacher by providing for the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in inclusive and specialized settings, focusing heavily on language, communication, and functional behavior skills.

A high school diploma or ged is required, though an associate degree or two years of higher education is preferred, and the candidate must complete the educational aide certification process if hired.
