Referees are responsible for managing flag football games in a fun, safe, and positive environment, ensuring the game moves along by managing time, score, and rules. They must also act as role models, teaching teamwork and good sportsmanship to players aged 5 to 14.

The ideal candidate should be confident, upbeat, and good with children, possessing strong communication and people skills, and must be reliable and responsible as they will be the leader on the field. Prior experience playing, coaching, or officiating football is a bonus, but training will be provided.
