TRIO Advisor

The advisor will implement recruitment plans, conduct student needs assessments, and provide comprehensive academic counseling, advising, and individualized course selection based on student profiles. Key duties also involve facilitating various credit and non-Credit programming, offering workshops on learning strategies, and managing required documentation for the grant-Funded aspire program.

A master's degree in education, counseling, or a related field, or current matriculation in a graduate program, is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience serving the target student population. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to disadvantaged students, strong communication skills, and proficiency with various computer applications including microsoft office suite and eab/Ssc.
