Hospital Based Substitute Teacher

The hospital-Based substitute teacher provides academic instruction and manages the classroom environment for adolescent patients in inpatient and day hospital programs during a regular teacher's absence. This role ensures educational continuity by following safety protocols and tailoring instruction to the needs of medically complex students, covering core subjects to keep them on track.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or higher, completion of district or state substitute teacher training if required, and current bls certification. Candidates must possess effective communication, classroom management, time management skills, professionalism, and flexibility.
