Part Time Special Education Teacher-Northwest Village School

The special education teacher is primarily responsible for planning, facilitating implementation, and monitoring progress related to iep development, differentiated and modified instruction, and behavior management within their assigned classroom or area. This role also involves serving as an active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, requiring ongoing collaboration with team members.

Candidates must possess the appropriate ct state department of education certification/Endorsement and must be able to acquire and maintain cpr certification within 90 days of hire. Successful teachers demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of child learning, broad subject matter knowledge, strong pedagogical skills, and a deep commitment to student success.
