Behavior Intervention Specialist ( BIS ) - Day Hab Program - Baldwin Day Hab

The specialist will conduct assessments, develop, and revise behavior support plans while maintaining coordination of active treatment services according to opwdd regulations. They are also responsible for training direct support professionals (Dsp) on aba principles and goal implementation strategies.

A master's degree in a human services field such as psychology or special education is required, along with experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism. One to two years of experience and training in applied behavior analysis (Aba) supports for people with autism is highly preferred.
