Staff Trainer ( Family Services ) OPWDD

The staff trainer is responsible for the ongoing clinical supervision and training of behavior intervention specialists and direct care staff, utilizing an evidenced based curriculum for teaching methodologies. This role involves providing guidance on appropriate techniques and approaches to ensure care planning goals are appropriate, implemented, and measurable according to member needs.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of professional experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, including experience with evidence-Based training curriculum. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (Aba) is preferred, and the ability to guide supervisors in goal development is essential.
