Substitute Teacher - Douglaston Preschool

This role involves acting as a coverage teacher by implementing individualized education program (Iep) goals for students using applied behavior analysis principles and managing the classroom environment in the regular teacher's absence. Responsibilities include supervising teacher’s assistants/Aides, conducting assessments, and ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all individuals.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in fields like child psychology, child development, or special education, including at least 12 early childhood credits. Experience with autism and applied behavior analysis is preferred, along with the ability to pass mandated background checks and physically assist individuals.
