Special Education Teacher (Preschool)

Teaching responsibilities involve implementing individualized education plans (Iep), managing the classroom, attending annual meetings, and completing required reports for children aged 2-4 on the autism spectrum. Duties also include conducting assessments, supervising support staff, training aides on instructional approaches, and applying behavior management interventions.

Candidates must possess ny state certification for special education teachers (Students with disabilities / B-2), with an internship certificate being the minimum requirement. Experience with asd and applied behavior analysis (Aba) strategies is preferred, and three letters of recommendation are required upon hire.
