Direct Support Professional

The role involves fostering pride in individuals by teaching them essential daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry, while assisting with personal activities to enhance their independence. Work is performed under the supervision of a house manager, involving observation of activities and review of reports.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license, with a verifiable high school diploma or g.e.d. Preferred. A strong desire to help others reach their fullest potential is essential, and prior experience in home health aide or working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
