Core responsibilities
The specialist is responsible for monitoring all health physicals, hearing and vision screenings, developmental screenings, individual health plans, and follow-Up care for children in the early head start program. This includes extensive data entry, reporting to agency and grantor, and tracking required health events for enrolled children.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in public health, child development, early childhood education, social work, or a related field is required, along with 2-3 years of experience working with children aged 0-3. Candidates must be bilingual in spanish and possess knowledge of head start program performance standards and the childplus data system.
