Direct Support Professional

Direct support professionals provide one-To-One support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to help them achieve independence, acting as mentors and role models for socially acceptable interactions. Duties include implementing support plans, assisting with daily challenges, and ensuring personal safety and well-Being within home and community settings.

Candidates should be prepared to support clients with various challenges, accompany them to activities, assist with daily chores, and maintain schedules. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a human services field and experience with individuals with autism, though experience is not required.
