Direct Support Professional

The role involves providing one-To-One direct support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to help them achieve independence, acting as a mentor, and implementing their individual support plan. Duties include supporting individuals with various challenges in their homes and communities, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring personal safety and well-Being.

Candidates must support individuals to live quality lives with dignity and independence, encouraging self-Sufficiency rather than acting as mere caregivers. A high school diploma or ged is preferred, and experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
