Core responsibilities
The advocate will supervise youth during recreational activities and work closely with clients, families, and community partners to provide advocacy, support, and respite care for individuals with mental and behavioral health diagnoses. Responsibilities include assisting in developing treatment plans, building trusting relationships with youth, documenting interactions, and arranging necessary transportation for clients.
Requirements summary
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma or ged; an associate's or bachelor's degree or enrollment in such a program is preferred. Candidates must have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver's license with good records, and proficiency with computers and smartphones, as daily travel and client transportation are required.
