Core responsibilities
The home visitor implements the new beginnings home visiting program by providing parent education and supportive services to at-Risk families with young children (0-3 years old). Responsibilities include conducting weekly home visits, performing child developmental assessments, and assisting families in obtaining necessary community resources.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree is required, though a master's degree in social work, education, or psychology is preferred, along with at least three years of professional experience working with low-Income, at-Risk families. Candidates must be proficient in using computers and software, possess excellent communication skills, and be bilingual in english and spanish.
