Preschool Teacher @ the Y - Antioch

Preschool teachers are responsible for creating inclusive learning environments by planning and facilitating engaging activities aligned with frameworks like the creative curriculum and head start standards. They must also supervise children at all times, document progress, and actively partner with families to support each child's development.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with an associate teacher permit or higher, and have completed at least 12 semester units in early childhood education. A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in early childhood programs is required, alongside current pediatric first aid and cpr certifications.
