Assistant Swim Instructor

The assistant swim instructor is responsible for delivering direct leadership, instruction, and motivation to students in swim classes while maintaining a supportive and positive atmosphere. Essential functions include assisting with paperwork, ensuring equipment is ready before and after class, and providing instruction in accordance with ymca guidelines.

Candidates must be a minimum of 15 years old and should ideally possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Required qualifications include current nationally recognized certifications such as first aid, bls, and oxygen administration, or the willingness to obtain them, along with the ability to demonstrate swim instructor skills.
