Camp Counselor I

The counselor is responsible for providing a safe and positive atmosphere while leading structured and unstructured activities for a group of children, consistent with ymca values. This includes implementing culturally relevant programs, ensuring sign-In/Out procedures are followed, and enforcing leave no trace principles.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-Solving skills, along with a strong desire to work with and motivate children. Required certifications (Cpr/Aed & first aid) must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
