Camp Counselor I

The camp counselor supports the ymca's mission by delivering excellent service and ensuring a safe, positive atmosphere for all participants under the direction of the youth & family director. Responsibilities include implementing culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate program activities while supervising groups of children.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old (Though minimum age is listed as 16 in qualifications) with a passion for mentoring and adventure, and must obtain cpr/Aed & first aid certifications within 30 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include six months or more of related experience and strong communication and problem-Solving skills.
