Swim Instructor II

The swim instructor will maintain a supportive, positive atmosphere while providing direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swim classes under the direction of aquatic leadership. Essential functions include completing necessary paperwork, ensuring equipment is ready before and after class, and instructing swimming lessons according to ymca guidelines.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess 3+ months of teaching experience in an aquatic environment, along with a current nationally recognized swim instructor certification. The ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and demonstrate swim instructor skills according to ymca standards is required.
