Assistant Swim Instructor

This role involves providing direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swim classes while maintaining a supportive and positive atmosphere according to ymca guidelines. Essential functions include assisting with necessary paperwork, ensuring equipment is ready before and after class, and spending adequate time in the water to develop participants fully.

Candidates must be a minimum of 15 years old and preferably possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Required qualifications include current nationally recognized certifications such as first aid, bls, and oxygen administration, or the willingness to obtain them, along with the ability to demonstrate swim instructor skills.
