Core responsibilities
This role involves assisting adults with mental illness in achieving independence by helping with goal setting, daily living activities, meaningful engagement, socialization, transportation, and medication administration. The educator will also implement treatment plans focused on goal achievement and symptom management to enhance the client's quality of life.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with coursework in psychology or related fields preferred, along with previous experience in health and human services. Essential requirements include patience, flexibility, computer proficiency, a valid driver's license with a safe record, access to a personal vehicle at some sites, and obtaining cpr, first aid, and map certifications.
