Residential Rehabilitation Educator

Residential rehab educators/Counselors assist adults with mental illness in achieving goals, managing daily activities, engaging in meaningful activities, and receiving medication administration. They implement treatment plans focused on goal achievement and symptom management to help clients develop independence and enhance their quality of life.

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, with coursework in psychology or related fields preferred, along with previous experience in health and human services. Required qualifications include patience, flexibility, computer proficiency, a valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle at some sites, and obtaining cpr, first aid, and map certifications.
