Residential Rehabilitation Educator

Residential rehab educators/Counselors assist adults with mental illness in achieving goals, managing daily activities, engaging in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation, and medication administration. They implement treatment plans to help clients reach goals and manage symptoms while fostering independence and enhancing quality of life.

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, with coursework in psychology or related fields preferred, along with previous experience in health and human services or related training. Essential requirements include patience, flexibility, computer proficiency, a valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle at some sites, and obtaining cpr, first aid, and map certifications.
