Direct Support Professional - Integrated Work Program

The direct support professional will teach individuals essential social/Life skills, such as communication and money management, to promote independent living, alongside teaching vocational skills for employment preparation. Responsibilities also include supervising individuals during instruction, community outings, and volunteering, while building professional rapport and acting as a positive role model.

Candidates must possess patience and compassion, with the ability to interact positively with individuals with disabilities and their families, although direct professional experience is desirable but not required. A high school diploma or ged is mandatory, along with a valid california driver's license, five years of driving experience, and eligibility for company auto insurance coverage.
