Special Education RISE Teacher - IDEA Mesa Hills College Prep (Immediate Opening)

Rise special education teachers are responsible for teaching all subjects to students with disabilities, ensuring high achievement expectations are met, and providing resources and support to their families. Key duties include adapting lessons, developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps), tracking student progress, and facilitating necessary meetings.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and valid texas state certification in special education, along with appropriate core content certification or competency worksheet. Experience in a special education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities is strongly preferred.
