Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians work one-On-One with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). This involves using evidence-Based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, demonstrating patience, compassion, and strong teamwork abilities, while being physically capable of demanding movements and lifting up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be 18+, possess a high school diploma or ged, and must obtain cpr/First aid certification and pass a background check.
