Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians will work one-On-One with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). This involves using evidence-Based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, possess patience and compassion, and be able to work well in a team, requiring a high school diploma or ged and being 18 years or older. Applicants must also be physically capable of various movements and lifting up to 50 pounds, and must obtain registered behavior technician certification after onboarding.
