Residential Advisor

The residential advisor provides a safe, supportive, and predictable environment by supervising job corps trainees in daily dormitory activities, monitoring progress toward goals, and consistently applying behavior management and core-Value-Driven practices. Duties include ensuring dormitory safety and order, maintaining resident accountability, assisting students with adjustment and scheduling, and serving as a communication channel between management, staff, and students.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for two years of related experience in fields like counseling, education, or social work. Candidates must possess the ability to effectively relate to the trainee population, strong management skills, excellent oral and written communication, and the capacity to obtain cpr/First aid certification.
