Residential Advisor

The residential advisor provides a safe, supportive, and predictable environment by supervising job corps trainees in their daily dormitory activities, monitoring their progress toward performance goals, and consistently applying behavior management and core-Value-Driven practices. Duties include ensuring dormitory order, safety, cleanliness, maintaining 100% resident accountability, assisting students with adjustment, and facilitating life skills groups.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for two years of related experience in fields like counseling, education, or social work. Candidates must possess strong management skills, the ability to inspire and motivate, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the capacity to obtain cpr/First aid certification.
