Core responsibilities
The behavior technician will work one-On-One with autistic/Emotional support students in a school setting, implementing their individual education plan (Iep) and positive behavior support plan (Pbsp) to help them achieve academic and behavioral goals. Responsibilities include timely data collection, providing behavioral and physical interventions as needed (Up to physical restraint), monitoring client performance, and assisting with daily living activities.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or ged and must be available to work monday through friday from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm. While no experience is required as paid training is provided, 3-6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or children with autism is preferred.
