Early Childhood Classroom Assistant

This role involves providing technical-Level support within an accredited early childhood education program by assisting teaching staff with classroom instruction, daily routines, and maintaining safe learning environments. Key duties include applying positive guidance strategies, monitoring health and safety compliance, and assisting with program documentation and data tracking.

Applicants must be currently enrolled at unm, attending at least half-Time (6 credit hours) during the fall and spring semesters, and must meet satisfactory academic progress if receiving work study. Preferred qualifications include coursework in early childhood education, child development, education, or psychology, along with experience working with young children in group settings.
