Direct Support Professional

The role involves enhancing the independence of individuals by teaching them to navigate daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry, while also encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. Work is performed under the supervision of a house manager, involving observation of activities and inspection of living areas.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a verifiable high school diploma or ged, and hold a valid driver's license. While no prior experience is required as training is provided, one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities is required, and dual diagnosis experience is preferred.
