Head start teacher (Hs1)

The teacher is responsible for leading a head start classroom of 3- To 5-Year-Olds, providing emotional support, managing behavior, and fostering learning through varied instructional strategies and curriculum fidelity. Key duties include ongoing child assessment, data analysis for individualization, implementing ieps, and establishing positive relationships with families through regular communication and home visits.

Candidates must possess an aa/As or ba/Bs in early childhood education, or a ba/Bs in a related field with specific ece coursework, along with preschool teaching experience; a ba is highly preferred. Required qualifications include local travel capability, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, effective communication skills, and computer literacy.
