Core responsibilities

The direct support professional will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, assisting with daily activities such as chores, meal preparation, recreation, learning, and fitness. The dsp is also responsible for representing the needs and interests of the individuals and contributing input to program planning and implementation.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and a valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience. Prior professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred, along with basic computer skills.
